In addition, big flatfish lures are highly regarded for their effectiveness. “The wobble action of a flatfish is deadly while searching for lake trout,” explained Lazzari. Jigs also provide advantageous opportunities, particularly when lake trout are feeding deep. "If you can hold a position over a group, it’s possible to get right in their face," he advised.
