Furthermore, fishing enthusiasts should be aware of California’s boating regulations. As stated by the California Department of Parks and Recreation, “every one of California’s new laws requires boat operators to have a California Boating Card. The card is required for anyone under the age of 41 to operate a boat in California’s waters.”
